Cookie policy.

1. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Session storage and local storage can also retain information in the browser. Necessary technologies support site functions; analytics technologies help understand visits and require your permission where applicable.
2. What this site uses
The public site works without accepting analytics. Google Analytics is loaded only when you accept it. Before acceptance, no analytics tag or request is sent to Google. We do not load advertising pixels, embedded third-party maps or videos for tracking. Fonts and project images are hosted by the site. Visual effects and cursor interaction do not use cookies to track your browsing.
WordPress can use technical cookies for its login and administration area. Public visitors do not need an account to send the contact form. Actual cookies depend on the pages visited and whether you are logged in.
| Technology | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| wordpress_test_cookie | Checks cookie support on the login page. | Browser session. |
| wordpress_sec_[identifier] and wordpress_logged_in_[identifier] | Authentication and logged-in session. | Usually session or two days; up to 14 days if “remember me” is selected. |
| wp-settings-[user] and wp-settings-time-[user] | Administration preferences. | Up to one year. |
| wp_lang | Login page language. | Session. |
| _ga and _ga_[identifier] | Google Analytics visitor/session measurement, only after consent. | 180 days, renewed on activity. |
| meiika_consent_v1 (local storage) | Remembers acceptance or rejection without sending the choice to Google. | 180 days. |
WordPress technical cookies are described in the official WordPress documentation.
3. Analytics purposes and providers
With your permission, analytics measures visits, referral sources, service pages and successful form submissions. It receives no names, email addresses or messages, and is not used for advertising personalisation. Google Ireland Limited and, where applicable, Google LLC provide the service. International transfers are described in the privacy policy and Google’s partner-site information.
4. Accept, reject or withdraw
The consent panel offers both acceptance and rejection. You may continue using the site either way. Open “Cookie preferences” in the footer at any time to change your choice or withdraw consent. Rejecting or withdrawing stops analytics and removes its cookies where accessible to this site. We ask again after 180 days or when a relevant configuration change requires it. Necessary technologies do not depend on analytics consent.
5. The assistant and language choice
The assistant uses meiika-nucleo-chat-v1 in session storage to continue the conversation across pages and languages in the same tab. It expires after two hours without activity and is cleared after booking, restarting or ending the tab’s session. Booking names and email addresses are not saved in this conversation record.
meiika-nucleo-invited remembers that the invitation has been shown for the current tab session. meiika-nucleo-idea temporarily transfers an idea to the contact form and is removed when retrieved or when the session ends. These functions support the conversation and do not send information to Analytics. Language selection is represented in the page URL; it does not add a language-tracking cookie.
6. External sites and browser controls
Project and booking links lead to independent sites with their own policies. Their content is not embedded in advance. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings; blocking authentication cookies can affect WordPress administration. For privacy questions, write to privacidad@meiika.es.
